PLAY FOR CANTERBURY TITLE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 28. At the Canterbury ladies’ golf championship, in the first of two qualifying rounds Miss B. Rutherford returned the fine card of 77. Miss B. Gaisford, the New Zealand champion, took 81; Mrs Dodgshuu, 81; Miss 0. Kay, Miss V. Fleming and Miss S. Watson (Manawatu) all 85.
