ATTACK WITH HAMMER.
SYDNEY, Sept, 16. The Coroner resumed Ins inquiry into the murderous attack on Mr Claude Saywell and his wife on April 22, as the result of which Mr Saywell died. Mr Jack Saywell, his son, gave evidence of his movements on the night of the tragedy. His employer, the city solicitor, testified as to the exemplary character of the son. The Coroner returned a verdict that Air Saywell died of injuries feloniously inflicted with hammer by a person or persons unknown.
