MILITARY CAMPS.
It was learned to-day that it has been officially announced that the Government has decided to restore the pay to men attending the Defence Department’s camps. The allowance, which had been discontinued as a relief measure, will be re-instituted from the commencement of the military year. This means that all men attending camps, which usually commence about October, will participate in the benefits to be derived.
