SHOCK FOR MOTORISTS.
PETROL DEARER IN BRITAIN.
Received September 14, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 13. There was an unpleasant shock for motorists in the sudden announcement that all petrol would be 3d dearer. It is calculated that this adds £lO,000,000 to £12,000,000 to the motorists’ burden.
