WOMAN SENATOR’S DEATH.
NEW YORK. June 23. A message from Briston, New Hampshire, states that Mrs Maude Ferguson, the first woman State Senator elected for New Hampshire, and a delegate to the Republican National Convention at Chicago last week, was found shot dead in the yard of her home to-night. At the inquest a verdict was brought in that Mrs Ferguson’s death was due to suicide.
