CHURCH SERVICES.
Parishioners of S-fc. Peter’s Anglican Church, Terrace End, are notified in another column of the patronal festival services. At to-morroVs sendees the preachers will be tho vicar (Rev. D. J. Davies) in the morning, and Rev. G. B. Stephenson (vicar of Dannevirke) in tho evening. On Wednesday (St. Peter’s Day) there will bo a festal evensong at 7 p.m., when special music will bo sung by tho choir. The preacher will he tho vicar. Parishioners aro invited to attend a social in the parish hall at 8 o’clock, and ladies aro asked to supplement the supper arrangements by bringing a basket. The offering for homo missions will be taken up at the 11 a.m. communion service in tho Church of Christ on* Sunday. Tho evangelist, Alf Hinrichscn. will be the speaker at all services. “Tho Evil of Infant Sprinkling,” or false doctrine, is the special topic for Sunday night. Miss M. Day, and Mr Ormundscn arc the soloists. No offerings will be received.
