WAITOHI SCHOOL.
The following committee was elected by the Waitohi School householders at the annual meeting: Messrs E. Rowe (chairman), A. G. Dear, T. S. Manson, J. B. Bradley, W. H. Henson. The annual report mado reference to the ’excellent work carried out on behalf of the school by Mrs C. Rowe and Mr Strode Penny. Thero were 2C children on tho roll and the attendance was good. Rex Pearce had won a prize for attending school evory day. and he had to travel three and a half miles. Marjorie Dear had been dux of tho school. A successful calf club competition had been hold. Ngaire Dear was awarded first prize, Mariorio Dear second, and Sylvia Beckman third.
