BOY SCOUTS.

ACTIVITIES OP MOVEMENT. At a meeting of scouters, held on Tuosday, arrangements for the Anzac Parade to be held on Anzac Day were finalised, and from reports received it is expected that the parade will be the largest yet held, as all troops have signified their intention of attending. The,Girl Guides are also parading, and support from this branch of the movement is most encouraging. As some of the scoutmasters may not be able to attend the parade it was decided that scouts whose scouters are not in attendance be asked to join up with other troops. Rev. D. J. Davies, the newly appointed vicar of St. Peter’s, has consented to officiate at the service. Itev. Mr Gerard, group scoutmaster (Pahiatua), delivered a very interesting and instructive lantern lecture upon the world jamboree and scouting in the Old Country. The address was greatly apprecated by a large gatherUg of scouts, officers and supporters of the movement, the Commissioner (Mr N. D. Stubbs) expressing the hope that those present would be favoured with another such lecture in the near future. A camp competition to be held later in the year was discussed, a committee being elected to go further into arrangements. The West End scoutmaster signified his intention of taking his patrol leaders and seconds into camp over the week-end with the object of carrying out instructional work. It is his intention to return in time for the parade on Anzac Day.
