SWIMMING RECORDS.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 19. A new Dominion swimming record for tho intermediate girls’ 75 yards was made in the tepid baths this evening by Miss Mona Leydon, whose time, 49 l-6sec., bettered by o.2ssec. the previous standard set by Miss Piri Pago in 1924. Miss Marie Farquhar, national lady champion, created a record for the 200 metres back-stroke, taking 3.14 4-5.
