COMMUNIST MENACE.
ATTACK ON SYDNEY HEADQUARTERS.
Received February 20, 9.50 a.m. . SYDNEY, Feb. 20. A gang of about 60 toughs attacked the Communist Hall in the city, wrecked every window, and lifted the main door from the hinges. The Communists inside defended stoutly. Beer bottles, bars, bricks and stones were used in the fight. Many suffered cuts and bruises. When the police arrived the fighting- ceased immediately.
