THROWN FROM HORSE.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 5. Mr Robert Armstrong, aged 2ji, of Taupaki, 22 miles from Auckland, was found lying dead at six o’clock this morning. He had been riding home last night, and there were signs that he had been thrown off the horse while opening a gate leading to his uncle’s farm, where he lived, and that the horse then dragged him some distance.
The uncle was asleep and was not aware of the tragedy until informed this morning.
