BUNNTTHORPE.
(Front Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, Dec. 5. On Friday afternoon a kitchen tea party was held in honour of Miss Mitchell, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. J. Mitchell of Bunnythorpe, who is to bo married at a early dato. Tno function took place in tho library room, and there were 35 present. A most enjoyablo afternoon was spent, the arrangements being in the hands of tho Anglican Ladies' Guild. A parcel guessing competition resulted in Misses Godfrey and Robson winning the prize. A number of musical items wero contributed. Miss Mitchell received many useful and valuable presents as expressions of best wishes. During the afternoon Rev. Mr Goertz spoke of Miss Mitchell’s work in connection with the Anglican Church and Sunday School. In wishing her every happiness in her married life, ho asked Miss Mitchell to
accept from tho Anglican Church members and the Sunday school a handsome salad and sandwich sot as an expression of their best wishes. Mr A. J. Mitchell returned thanks on behalf of his daughter for tho presents and good wishes and for the many gifts from all present. Afternoon tea was provided by tho Ladies’ Guild and with tho singing of “She’s a Jolly Good Follow" a most enjoyablo function was brought to a close.
