(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, Dec. 3. Vital statistics for Otaki for November were: European: Births, 6; death, 1; marriage notices, 2. Maori: Births 2, death 1. At Te Horo in November the total rainfall was 5.37 inches. The heaviest fall was on the 2nd (2.7 inches). Rain fell on ten days. At the golf links rain fell on elovon days, the heaviest falls being on the 2nd and 3rd when two inches of rain fell. The total rainfall was 3.63 inches. The first Otaki Girl Guido Company held their fourth birthday party at the Maori School. Among those present were the District Commissioner (Miss Kebbell) the second Otaki company, and the Maori cubs, who celebrated their third birthday on the same occasion.
