MERGER AGREEMENT RATIFIED MONEY AVAILABLE SHORTLY. STATE GOVERNMENT’S REPAYMENTS.

The Savings Bank agreement was passed by both Houses of Parliament, and money will be available by December 14.
The State Government is to repay to the Commonwealth Bank Treasury a deposit of £7,112,564 by forty equal halfyearly payments, the first of which falls due on November 30, 1936, with interest at 4 per cent.
