BRITAIN’S UNEMPLOYED.

RUGBY, Dec. 1. There were 33,000 fewer registered unemployed on November 23 than the week before, according to figures issued by the Ministry of Labour tonight. The comparative incidence of the depression on the industrial areas of the ilidlands and the North and South of England is shown in another statement from the Ministry. While at. November 16 22.1 per cent, of insured persons on the registers in Great Britain were unemployed, the percentage of insured persons unemployed in several of the Home counties was as low as 12 ' and for Greater .London only 13.4. In Durham, however, the percentage was 37.6.
