Mr Peter Davies, the publisher, who is a godson of Sir James Barrie and who inspired Barrie’s “Peter Pan,” has become affianced to Hon. Margaret Hore-Ruthven, a daughter of Lord Ruthven and niece of the Governor of South Australia. Miss HoreRuthven is one of twins who are famous in British society.
