LORRY GOES OVER BANK.

LOCAL RESIDENT INJURED. WAIPUKURAU, Sept. 2. When a motor transport lorry was proceeding along the Main South Road near Hatuma yesterday the steeringgear jammed and the vehicle got out of control and went over a hank. The two occupants, Messrs George Roy, of Palmerston North, and Richard Moody, the driver, were injured. They were admitted to the Waipukurau Hospital. Mr Roy is suffering from serious head injuries, and it is feared that he has internal injuries. Mr Moody lias a lacerated hand and abrasions to the body.
