PARACHUTE FROM ’PLANE.
Received August 21, 12.25 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 20. A message from Laon, France, states that when alighting by a parachute from a private ’plane, in a violent gust of wind, a woman was dragged half a mile and dashed against a tree at the Sissonne Aerodrome. Her injuries proved fatal.
