SIR ISAAC ISAACS.
COMMISSION OF APPOINTMENT. In the House of Commons, Captain W. G. A. Ormsby-Gore (Cons.) inquired whether a commission appointing anyone as Governor-General of Australia ought not bear the Royal sign manual or the Royal signet, and also what sign manual or signet had been affixed to the commission appointing Sir Isaac Isaacs. The Secretary for the Dominions (Mr Thomas) : The commission appointing Sir Isaac Isaacs was signed by the King and sealed with the signet of.the Dominions Office.
