BRITAIN’S POSITION
PRIMATE’S WARNING. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.! Received August 3. 12.15 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 2. A serious -warning as to Britain s position was uttered by the Primate in the course cf a' sermon he delivered at Dover. ‘■We have always taken it for granted that our industrial and commercial supremacy is_ assured.” the Aitabishop said. “Now that we know it is threatened we musttake an entirely new outlook. Unless we are prepared for a sacrifice on a large and wide scale, it may be difficult not only to maintain the existing standard, but also even to provide a living and maintenance for the people.”
