IMPERIAL COMMUNICATIONS.
Received July 24, 1.15 p.m. LONDON, July 23. The profits of Imperial International Communications for last year, the first year of unified control, were £326,248, compared with £2,023,155 for the 21 months ended December 31, 1929. The decrease is entirely due to the drop in message receipts, which diminished at the rate of £992,183 for the year. A dividend of 1J per cent, will be paid by the utilisation of £200,000 from the general reserve.
