FOXTON.
(From Our Own' Correspondent). FOXTON, July 24.
Ensign Smith, of the local Salvation Army corps, was called to Waihi yesterday, where her mother is seriously ill. Tfie death occurred at Foxton last Saturday of Mrs Loreanza Johnston, relict of tho late Mr R. O. Johnston, of Wellington. Deceased, who was 79 years of age, had been suffering for some time and had been confined to her bed for many months. Tho funeral took placo at Foxton on Sunday, the service being conducted by the Rev. Mr Walton.
