NINETEEN KILLED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright.) Received July 24, 10 a.m. SEVILLE, July 23. Nineteen were killed in the riots, and 300 arrests were made. Syndicalists attempted to rescue prisoners who were being conveyed to the cellars of the Town Hall. Soldiers fired, killing four, including the president of the Syndicalist Union. A mob led by a woman attacked the barracks of the Civil Guard. Four of the attackers were wounded, including a woman sniper. The Civil Guard were authorised to fire, without warning, on any groups in the streets exceeding four. To-day shots were fired at the gendarmerie barracks from a block of workmen’s dwellings opposite. The Civil Guard cleared out the occupants and with field guns bombarded and demolished the block.
