ONE TRAIN A MONTH.
RECORD IN RAILWAY TIMETABLES. A new railway lino which has been opened from Meringur to Morkalla in tho Mallee district established two new records in railway working in Victoria. In the first place, it has the most infrequent train service in the State; and secondly, its terminus at Morkalla, 403 'miles from Melbourne, makes it the most remote station from the metropolis. Tho line is 92 miles in length. It cost £34,200 to build, amii the time-table provides for one train from Meringur once a month.
