CHICHESTER’S FLIGHT.
JAPAN IN A FORTNIGHT.
Received July 6, 10-5 a.m. BRISBANE, July 6,
Mr F. C. Chichester, the New Zealand airmail, arrived at Cairns yesterday. Ho said .in an interview that he expected to reach Japan in a fortnight, but he could not even hazard a guess as to how long it would take him to fly from there to England. It depended on his ability to secure fuel supplies in the inhospitable wastes of the Arctic region.
