BALLOTS OF MINERS.

GREYMOUTH, July 4. With regard to the proposal that miners should not pay the unemployment levies, the Greymouth Star authoritatively understands that ballots of miners throughout the Dominion did not give the required threefifths majority to carry the proposals; therefore, the levies will be paid meanwhile.
