HOSTILE DEMONSTRATION.
COMMUNISTS AT CHRISTCHURCH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 4. Over 100 Communists made a hostile demonstration outside a house in Salisbury Street to-day when one of their number, C. F. Riley was being evicted for tho non-payment of rent. Threats were made against the landlord, but no violence was used, though men helped to carry Riley’s furniture to another house.
