LUCIEN MICHARD.
AYORLD’S CHAAIPION CYCLIST. COAIPLETED IN 100 RACES IN 1930. Lucien Aliehard. the world's cycle sprint champion, won, in some French provincial tours recently, the Easter Grand Prix at Clermont-Ferrand from Martinette (Italy) and Moeskops (Holland). and later he defeated Fauclieux and Zauns (France) at Le Blanc. Aliehard also won a handicap from scratch, and a 25-kilometre team race, with a local rider for a partner, at the- same meeting. The world’s champion confided that he had competed in 100 races, besides record attempts, during 1930, and that he had gone off his form a little during the last winter season.
