HEAVY RAIN AT AUCKLAND.
MUCH MINOR FLOODING. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 20. Auckland had 6.43 inches of rain at the week-end. The fall began at about three o clock on Saturday afternoon, stopping all sports, and continued steadily until about’ten o’clock on Sunday morning. The rain came on again about four o’clock with a veritable cloudburst. Much minor flooding is reported, without serious consequences.
