SUPPLY OF POWER.

CASE OF CHELTENHAM COMPANY “I do not think that we have treated the Cheltenham Dairy Company fairly,” stated Mr P. G. Guy (Feilding) at the monthly meeting of the Manawatu-Oroua Power Board to-day, when reference was made to the expenses of arbitration in the recent dispute between the board and the company. Mr J. H. Perrett: Why bring all that stuff now? I thought it was finished with. Mr Guy: It will never be finished with until they are taken back by the board. Mr Perrett: We will take them when they are ready. Mr Guy : They would come in off the peak load. The chairman (Mr J. A. Nash, M.P.) said that no precedent could be established in granting concessions. Mr Hodgens asked if the company had only to make an application to be taken back. Mr Nash: Yes. We would be- dec lighted to consider it.
