ALARM IN SYDNEY SUBURB.
ACTIONS OF MADMAN. Received January 5, 10.15 a.m. SIDNEY, Jan. 5. Alarm has been caused in the suburb of Waverley bv the actions of a maniac who has three times unsuccessfully attempted to asphyxiate the inmates of two households with gas from a hose, which he attached to a meter. The man is still at large.
