WELLINGTON STRIVING FOR VICTORY.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 5. The Canterbury fieldsmen were on their toes this morning in the last day’s play in the Plunket Shield match against Wellington. Wellington continued their second innings with three wickets down for 51, requiring 383 to win. At the luncheon adjournment Wellington had lost seven wickets for 215.
