OTAKI, Jan
Otaki Beach was well patronised during the Christinas holidays, visitors being present from all parts of the North Island. As showing how traffic on the road varies, a motorist who is often on the road early in tho morning states that on the morning of Boxing Day between Levin and YVaikanae ho met 151 cars, an average seven in every mile. At the same time on Wednesday morning between Levin and Otaki only eight cars were met a little over one in every two miles.
