RONGOTEA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) RONGOTEA', Dec. 5.

To celebrate the 52nd anniversary of the Rongotea Alethodist Sunday School threo services conducted by Rev. W. Tapp were held in the church. Although the weather conditions were very unfavourable there were splendid congregations, collections for the day amounting to £9. On Monday evening the annual concert and prize-giv-ing was held, Air L. H. Yarrall, superintendent, presiding. The fojlowing items were listened to with great interest by a largo gathering of parents and friends:— company song, by the whole school; recitation, Miss Lily Glover; organ solo, Aliss Mary Foster; recitation, Rona Hill; song and chorus, junior girls; recitation, Aliss Bennett; recitation. Aliss Joyce Cayerhill; sacred song, Aliss I. Foster; recitation, Phyllis Hill; humorous monologue, Miss S. Bennett; duet, Don. Hancox and Russell Hunt. Rev. C. 11. Kendon presented the prizes won during the year and in a short speech thanked the parents and teachers for the many services rendered to the Church.
