FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.
ACORN LODGE. A most enjoyable evening was held in the Coronation Hall at Terrace End last night, on the occasion of the Acorn Lodge of Druids’ social evening to all friendly society members and friends. Items were rendered by. Mr J. Davidson, elocutionist, and the Flower brothers, ventriloquists. Dance music was supplied by Messrs M. llosanoski and C.' Lloyd. All the local lodges were represented, and several members were present from Feilding. Bro. Hughes, on behalf of the Arch Druid, who was unfortunately unable to be in attendance,'thanked the visitors and entertainers. for their assistance in making the affair a success. A pleasant evening fraternising was concluded at midnight by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.
