BRAWL ON STEAMER.
POLICE RESTORE PEACE. Received August 15, 11 a.m. SYDNEY, Aug. 15. An ugly brawl occurred to-day on the steamer La Peruse, which is lying at Circular Quay. Blacks and Noumeans fought white and Swiss members of the crew. Two had their scalps split open with bottles. The police restored peace. Most of those who participated in the rumpus were drunk. A greaser has been charged with assault.
