FLOATING DOCK
CONTRACT PLACED. Received August 15, 12.10 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 14. A contract for a floating dock for Wellington, New Zealand, has been placed with Swan Hunter, Wigham and Richardson, builders, of Singapore. The dock will be 540 feet long and 117 feet broad, with a lifting capacity of 17,000 tons.
