SAFEGUARDING INVESTORS. NEW REGULATIONS IN LONDON. Received August 14, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 13. Arising from the Hatry frauds, the Stock Exchange committee has adopted new regulations for the safeguarding of investors. These were recommended by a sub-committee after bearing evidence from bankers, lawyers, and accountants. The regulations will bring the transfer of shares more closely under the control of the Stock. Exchange. To protect municipal issues the regulations will insist on fuller details in connections with the flotation of companies.
