DRIVER FINED.
CASE AT PAHIATUA. Per Press Association. PAHIATUA, Aug. 14. In the Magistrate’s Court this morning, a dairy farmer named Walter Douglas Burgess was fined £2O and costs, and had his license cancelled for six months, for being intoxicated while in charge of a car. On a second charge, that being forbidden to drive by the police on account of his condition he did drive the said vehicle, he was fined £2 and costs. For using obscene language at the time of his arrest he was fined £2 and costs.
