FAMOUS WOMAN FLIER.
ANOTHER HANDSOME GIFT. Received August 14. 12.35 p.m. LONDON, Aug. 13. Beneath, the New Zealand carillon in Hyle Park next Saturday, Sir Sefton Brancker will hand over to Miss Amy Johnson a subscription for an aeroplane to be named “Johnnie.” The ’plane is of a similar type to the Jason, in which Mies Johnson flew from England to Australia.
