AMATEUR ROAD CYCLING.
On Saturday the Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will be continuing the “Red Seal” senes of road races with one of 21 miles, three times round the seven mile Milson block. This is the eleventh race of the scries and competition is keen for tho handsome racing cycle which is the trophy being competed for. As the contestants will be traversing the block three times the public will get a good view of the race at the corner of Rangitikei Line and Boundary Road. The handicapper, Mr *M. E. Wood, has declared the following handicaps’:—E. Lawrence, 2mins.; W. Pedley, 3j ; W. Hussey, 5; D. Hayes, N. Dixon, G. Tinkler, E. Barber, 6; W. Galbraith, J. Powell, E. Sayers, J. Watt, J. Casey, 7; R. Sowerby, A. Pedley, A. Anderson. J. Hill, 9; A. Robinson, O. Prouse, C. Hawkes, C. Olsen, 11; S- Doy, A. McGregor, 12; D. Hopewell, J. Knowles, 13; D. Bromley, R. Langford, H. Chiids, J. Cudd 14. Any others desh-ious of starting will be handicapped on the mark.
