RESULTS OF COUNTY MATCHES. LONDON, May 16. County cricket matches resulted as follows: Middlesex v. Worcester: Middlesex in the first innings scored 62 (Root 5 for 30, Perks 4 for 15), and in the second innings 191 (Hondren not out 92). Worcester in the first innings made 86 (Haig 6 for 30), and in the second 168 for 4. Worcester won by six wickets. Sussex v. Derby: In the first innings Sussex scored 121 (Slater 5 for 45), and in the second 64 (Worthington 5 for 35). Derby in the first inn-, ings made 191 (Worthington 60, Tate 5 for 54). Derby won by nn innings and six runs. Somerset v. Kent: Somerset in the first innings made 228 (Longrigg 112, Freeman 6 for 85), and in the second 207 (Longrigg 84, Freeman 5 for 104). Kent in the first innings scored 317 (Ames 74, Chapman 107), and in the second 119 for 2. Kent won by eight wickets. Glamorgan v. Surrey: In the first innings Glamorgan scored 174 (Allom 4 for 37), and in the second 166 for 6. Surrey in the first innings scored 163 (Ryan 5 for 70). Glamorgan won on the first innings. . Wnrwick v. Hampshire: Warwickjn tho first innings scored 196 (Wyatt 77), and in the second 92 (Newman 6 for 17). Hampshire in the first innings scored 130 (Mayer 6 for 50). and in the second 142 (Paine 5 for 36), Warwick won by 16 runs. Cambridge v. Y orkshire: In the first innings Cambridge scored 127 (Rhodes 7 for 35). and in the second 257 (Kcmpwelch 62, Killick 68). Yorkshire in the first innings compiled 258 (Barber 81, Fabian 8 for 69) and in the second 127 for none. Yorkshire won by ten wickets. Leicester v. Oxford; Leicester in the first innings made 105 (Peebles 6 for 37), and in the second 310 for 9 and declared (Armstrong 79, Geary not out 112, Peebles 6 for 89). Oxford in the first innings made 109 (Snary 5 for 21), and in the second 6 for 210 (Douglas 94). The match was drawn. JUPP INDISPOSED. LONDON, May 17. Owing to illness Jupp will not play against Australia at Lords. Kennedy, the Hampshire player, will replace him.
