MANAWATU HUNT.
EXCELLENT SPORT AT WAITUNA. The Manawatu Hunt had an excellent outing on Mr S. G. Perry’s estate, “Pukera,” Waituna, oil Saturday, There were several short runs, and an excellentone of two miles, resulting in a kill. There was some excellent jumping, and at the conclusion of an interesting afternoon’s sport those present were entertained at tea at Mr Perry’s homestead. Among those following the hounds were:—Messrs S. G. Perry (deputymaster) on Jolly Jack; J. J. Waller (huntsman), Rakawa; O. Perry (whip), Garryowen; S. Shand (whip), All Serene; T. Taylor, Lad o’ Mine; H. Bryce, Hinatore; E. Cousins, Hayo; E. Jensen, Grey Lynn; J. Cook, Scrap Iron ; M. Conway, Suffragette ; F. Pearson, Fencer ; S. Mcßeth, Pengelly ; R. Lindo; A. Hobson, Beechwood; M. Hocking, Passchendaele; Misses D. Perry, Caro; R. Perry, Chloe; J. Banks, Sally Horner; B. Banks, Glenmarnock; M. Johnson, Top Rail; M. Clapham, Miro; T. Shannon, Grey Gown; Mesdames G. Perry, Brian; W. Taylor, Ranger; F. Pearson, radmore.
