FIRM PRICES IN LONDON. GOOD COMPETITION. NEW ZEALAND REALISATIONS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 16. 11.50 a.m. London. May is. At the wool sales to-day. 10,895 bales were offered, including 5871 from New Zealand. About 6576 bales were sold. There was a moderate offering o f Merinos, principally of rood style, and a large offering of crossbreds. There was good competition. Compared with the opening rates, Merinos remained fullv firm. Crossbreds sold in the owners’ favour. New Zealand realisations: —Qreasy Crossbreds, Whakawahine, top price average llid, Moaston, 12d, Admiral llid. Hid; halfbred, Mount White, 12d, Hid. BRADFORD FIRM. The Bradford market is quietly firm. Sixty-four’s 30d, sixtie’s 28d, fiftysixes 22d, fifties 181(1, forty-sixes 16d, forties 15Jd.
