ESCAPEES RECAPTURED.
Per Press Association. NAPIER, May 14. The two Maori fugitives from Te Awamutu, William Broughton, aged 18 and George Thomas MacDonald Bryant, aged 19, were captured this morning in the swamp at Brookfields. The escapees were involved in a motor smash on “Devil’s Elbow” on Sunday.
