CRACKS IN RESERVOIR
VICTORIAN PEOPLE ALARMED. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 13, 12.50 p:m. MELBOURNE, May 13. Following heavy rain, the water has risen alarmingly in the Inglewood reservoir and cracks have appeared in the retaining wall. Spillways are being blasted to reduce the level by seven feet. Thousands of tons of water are still pouring in and the • residents of Inglewood are moving from the danger area.
