VESSEL TOWED TO PORT.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 12. In tow of the tug Pelican the motor vessel Margaret W., arrived at Auckland from Gisborne this morning. Off the East Cape last Friday afternoon the timing wheel on the motor bicke, and the weather being calm the vessel anchored about two miles south of ti c Cape and signalled to the .ighthouse for assistance. The Gisborne tug Pelican picked i.p the Margaret W. and took her into Hicks Bay, where she loaded sheep before con.’ng into port here. The vessel landed the sheep at Motuapu and later berthed at King’s wharf, where rej>airs will eh carried out. it is liojied to dispatch her to Gisborne to--nor -ow.
