Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 12. The annual conference of the Educational Institute opened this afternoon. The presidential address was given by Mr J. G. Poison. The annual conference of the New Zealand Women Teachers’ Association was opened on Saturday evening in the Education Board room. Mfcj Andrews (Taranaki) president, was in tlie chair. Among those present were: Misses Piercey (Manawatu) and Burge (Pahiatua^Bush).
