Deer only 2ft high, giant frogs, birds which resemble turkeys and have spurs on their wings, hens which liy blue eggs, and wild dogs are among a curious collection obtained in Soum America for the London Zoo by All Clarence Elliott, tire scientist. To make more rom for traffic, die 150-vcar-old town hall of Renders, in Jutland, was recently moved two yards on trolleys. The building is Gift long, 31ft wkle. and 40ft high. It was moved so smoothly that the clock in the tower did not stop.
