BODY FOUND IN RIVER.
MISSING FOR A FORTNIGHT. Per Press Association. DARGAVILLE, April 12. The body of a man who is believed to be Rodney Bernard Shannon, aged 55, a married man with three children, who has been missing for a fortnight, was found in the river last night. Mr Shannon, who was a storekeeper at Tekopuru, went to Auckland on business. He telegraphed his wife that he was returning, but failed to do so. It is learned that he was seen to join the boat at Helensville on the return journey. Mr Shannon come to Tekopuru from Tjyhakatane.
